Roihuvuori by Night

Roihuvuori has a lot of energy. I do believe that it's the night life which loads the batteries. You don't know our willage if the life after midnigt is strange to you. Here you have some pictures in no particular order. Rest and enjoy.

It's quite easy to ask a dog to stay on its Place as long as it takes to have a photo of it. But these wild birds in the middle of the forest... It's a matter of trust.

There is an art container in Roihuvuori. It's become quite famous because of the changing graffities. A painting is lucky if it survives a week before the wall is repainted. This graffiti survived only ten hours during the last night.  K.R., who 's painter, is very well known among those folks and the guys travel even from Stockholm to see his art.

Butterflies

2017 is Finland´s 100 years celebration year. That's why we had a game to identify at least 100 butterflies this year. I´m satisfied with my 23 day time observations. Here you have some pictures of them taken on the courtyard of our summerplace, exept the Amiraali which lies on the concrete stairs in Roihuvuori and a Noname on the bank of the Missisippi river.

The Real People in Roihuvuori
